OPTISURE is a Property In-Land Marine Insurance Program by AIG Canada through South Western Insurance Group, covering logging equipment and contractor’s equipment. Since 2016, it has operated as an SWG subsidiary, insuring assets from a single item up to $60–$70 million, including “yellow iron” used in multiple industries. Coverage extends beyond contractors’ equipment and auto physical damage (e.g., log trucks, trailers, low-bed tractors) to include specialized risks like ice and muskeg exposure for remote northern work, and waterborne coastal operations.

- All risk wording with no minimum premiums
- Course of construction / Builders risk
- Motor truck cargo
- Various industry contractors equipment including logging, forestry, civil works, agriculture, oilfield construction, road construction, ground mining operations, dirt moving, equipment hauling and cranes.
Available Extensions:
- Have authority to issue certificates of insurance that include the following: blanket contractual, contingent employers liability, waivers of subrogation, additional insureds (blanket additional insured endorsement required)
