SWG strives to provide the best technology and human expertise when handling claims. As such, International Programs Group (IPG) has joined forces with the London market of SCM Insurance Services, a third-party administration company. IPG is one of North America's leading TPA providers with offices in Canada and the United States. The company is fully staffed to handle claims of all types, and provides claims services to MGAs, Lloyd's syndicates, domestic insurers, and self-insured entities. IPG offers a full range of claims services as your claims department. IPG's offices are staffed with Senior Examiners and qualified Desktop Examiners, who are dedicated to meeting the specialized needs of our clients.
Through our partnership with IPG, SWG can maximize efficiency and improve business decisions. This partnership directly benefits brokers and their clients. Learn how working with IPG helps SWG's clients have a positive claim experience.
Our commitment to informed and thorough claim procedures
As part of our Third-Party Administrator (TPA) service, IPG offers the most extensive network of adjusting companies in Canada. Aside from engaging third-party professionals, IPG also employs lawyers, engineers, contractors, and surveyors to produce a refined and customized business environment.
A wide range of Lloyd's syndicates are represented by SWG in addition to domestic insurers, and every syndicate has its own relationship with adjusters. IPG respects these existing relationships and works with them to ensure that they comply with the requirements of insurance companies and syndicates. To help our clients, our brokerage team can draw upon this partnership's vast expertise and experience.
Maximizing efficiency and accuracy with an intuitive, end-to-end claims management system
Both the insured and the insurer benefit from South Western Group's fast claims process. With IPG's claims management system, the process is even more efficient and accurate. We provide a user-friendly, end-to-end claims management system that provides complete access to all program activities and information.
The IPG system is a real-time, web-based system that is accessible 24/7. Its robust IT infrastructure enables its employees to work remotely whenever necessary. As a result, IPG can operate at full capacity and deliver services to its clients as usual. The IPG claims handling process incorporates electronic funds transfer (EFT) to increase efficiency. Checks are no longer required for payment issuance and delivery, which reduces wait times and costs.
SWG's investment in underwriting management is supplemented by the use of IPG's Claims Management system to improve our ability to manage claims and risk. Within IPG premade MI templates, hundreds of fields can be customized, and additional fields can be added to capture custom data. Opta Information Intelligence, IPG's sister company, helps SWG better understand business and claims risk through predictive analytics and data management.
With timely, efficient and proactive management of claims, SWG ensures a smooth payment process and can administer payments quickly. In the rare event a dispute arises, it is usually resolved quickly.
Putting our best foot forward
Due to its membership in the SCM network and its thorough knowledge of both the local and London markets, IPG can be relied upon to provide the claims management and claims administration services that SWG clients need. Across three offices in Vancouver, Toronto, and Montreal, over 100 risk examiners oversee high-end complex losses along with our experienced generalists. Throughout Canada, IPG also offers claims services in English and French.
Insureds benefit from responsive claim handling
SWG and IPG make claims intake easy and convenient for insureds. Throughout the entire insurance process, IPG will keep the insured well informed by sending automated notifications about how their claim is being processed and how progress is being made. These notifications can be as detailed or brief as the customer prefers.
IPG's claim management services include claims reporting, claims adjustment, financial tracking, quality assurance, and customer service initiatives. After the broker notifies IPG of a claim, IPG contacts all parties to determine the best course of action. To prevent unnecessary delays in resolving any claims issues, IPG oversees the entire claim process. IPG also pays indemnities and expenses from its Trust Funds. In addition to providing excellent customer service and claim handling, IPG is strongly committed to providing outstanding service to all its insureds.
